World of Kairas
High fantasy trilogy with cozy characters and epic adventure

In the world Kairas the deities may be sealed away but their troubles are not. Welcome to a shattered land. A burgeoning place of diverse people, opposing magic, and unexplored nooks await. All left behind by deities who did not want to go.
Zizy, a gnome thief trying to find a new path for herself and those she meets along the way.
Laysa, a librarian who desires the powers of Casters but finds herself unable to reconcile her worth due to the deities who shun her.
Pace, a town speaker who wants nothing more than to make sure everyone he loves is safe and protected.
Skinny, an unknown ranger who finds that running from her past may mean running from her true self.
United by their separate needs, can these unlikely and unprepared travelers band together in time to solve their own problems before the world does it for them? They’ll have to face their fears and make a series of decisions that could last a lifetime.
How do you stop being a thief?
Zizy Zakar assumed quitting her job, stealing from her boss, and teleporting hundreds of miles away was one way to give it a go.
Getting in and out of sticky situations is her specialty. A little invisibility here, a bit of deception there, and she’s home free. But even a quick-fingered, fast-talking gnome can stumble into danger that tests her skills to stay alive.
Pressed into a mission she can’t say no to, Zizy feels desperate, displaced, and lonely. When she meets Laysa, a charming librarian with bold curiosity, Zizy can’t help but want to bring her along on this one last job. She’ll just hide her past, her present, and any complicated info about herself. What could go wrong?
Either she finishes the job and protects those she loves, or it all falls apart. Is this journey the ultimate key to unlocking a new path or another sticky situation she has to run from? She’ll use every tool she’s got to get what she wants.

Powerful plots full of mystery and intrigue
Each new adventure gives the reader a chance to play detective in a fascinating fantasy world. There’s a new mystery with every book and an ongoing mystery throughout, driven by the decisions of characters both seen and unseen.
Inclusive worlds and a queer normative setting
Fiona Thorne is our strong female lead, but she’s not alone. As for romantic relationships, they’re here and they tend to be queer. At the Court of Queen Brilliance of Rise, you’re more likely to be judged on your choice of attire than your choice of dance partners.
Cozy epic adventures that keep you entertained
From the cozy comfort of a warm fire and a hot coffee to the beginnings of lasting friendships through entertaining adventures. Fiona can’t help but speak out against injustice and she can’t stand a bully. Getting in trouble on behalf of those who can’t help themselves is just one way to make a new friend. It might not be the safest but it’s certainly entertaining.
